Hi I have had a small 1cm maybe lesion on the left of my spine now for about 5 years. I now have a back ache low down which goes into my buttock and down my left leg and sometimes it is all over my back. Two surgeons say it is probably a lipoma or cyst and it shouldn t be causing me any pain so I just want to ease my mind probably and ask you what you think? If it has been present for 5 years now does that prove that it is not malignant?
