Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
If the fish bone sticks into the throat, it produces discomfort. Most of the time it will dislodge itself and the discomfort will take quite some time to disappear.
If the pain in the chest persists it will be a good idea to consult a surgeon and get your self examined and if indicated endoscopy may also be needed to exclude any problem in the food pipe which passes through the chest into the abdomen.
Wishing you all the best.
Hello.Welcome.the size of swallowed bone is very small. The chances of it's piercing the esophageal wall are very little.Maximum it can cause some abrasion inside.Just relax and don't do anything.Take cold ice cream. If the symptoms persists for more than two days then consult a Gastroenterologist.Good luck.
I have had similar issues till I learned I was having an allergic reaction to fish. It is anaphalactic shock and should be considered very dangerous. Go get tested at an allergy office for fish and seafood. If you remember the type of fish you ate it may help to get correct testing. It may have been a bone but you are describing exactly what this type of reaction feels like. Can last many hours.
