Swelling Between The Eyes After Trauma To The Nose. Swelling And Bruise. Treatment?
Swelling between eyes after nasal trauma, Last Tuesday my daughter had an accident at the pool. She swam from the bottom of the pool against the edge, with big speed. She was hit on the top of her nose bridge. Well, we took her to the hospital, but they could not diagnose a nasal fracture. However, her nose was swollen and bruised, and her eyes and the area between her eyebrows as well. Between her eyes she was cut too. It's been five days ago, but the area between her eyebrows are still thick and swollen. She says that place still hurts like it's bruised.
When will the thickness between her eyebrows fade?
I read your query regarding swelling between eyes due to injury over nose of your daughter. She sustain injury over bridge of nose about 5 days back.
After co-relating your complaints it appears most likely your daughter has fracture in nasal pyramid, so it will be better to do X-Ray nose ( AP & Lat view ). If any fracture and dislocation is found in X-Ray than you should consult an ENT doctor to correct the deformity.
For this type of traumatic swelling she may take Diclofenac (50 mg) with Serratipeptidase (15 mg ) in bid doses for 5 to 7 days.
I hope your query is explained.
Regards.
