Swelling In Arm, Pain In Forearm. Do Not Want To Go To ER

I have a slight swelling in the crook of my left arm ...I always carry things with my left hand some of it pretty heavy and I have a habit of swinging the load over my left shoulder or bending my arm in a flex position and carrying that way...now have pain in my forearm especially when I twist it towards my body and pain in my wrist when I lift or type...recently I moved some very large stones from my garden using left hand only...that's when the pain started..one crook of my elbow had been slightly larger before the pain but I figured it was over developed muscle from constant use of that arm only...I have no insurance, recently lost it ..and am trying to avoid the er thank you

Welcome to HCM.
Pain is most likely due to muscle sprain due to over work, there might be development of bursitis on the shoulder joint due to continuous heavy weight lifting.
First of all you have to avoid any weight lifting to get the recovery.
Start oral nsaid with muscle relaxant.Apply nsaid gel locally.
B12,d3,calcium and minerals supplement will be helpful.
You can get fast recovery with intra muscular injections of nsaid with b12,folic acid.
Physiotherapy is advisable under guidance of your doctor.
At least consult your family physician for proper medical management.
