hello and welcome to HCM forum,
I would like to inform you that swelling over face and nose after waking up is most probably from a sinus condition.
I would recommend you to visit an ENT specialist first, to me this does not seem to be from a decayed tooth.
I hope this answer was useful,
i wish yyou good health,
take care.

Dentist Dr. Bindiya Bhaskar's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

The swelling over face may be arised due to-abscess developed due to deep caries of the tooth.

The pus within the periapical area may drain into sinus spaces as well as tissue spaces causing swelling.

Please do visit a dentist and get the abscess drained and curetted.

Root canal treatment has to be done if required.

Take complete course of amoxycillin along with analgesics to prevent underlying infection.

Hope this helps.

hi...
thanks for the query...
probably your dental infection has reached upto your sinus...
please go for the treatment of your decayed tooth to prevent any further complication...
either go for its RCT or extraction according to the need of the situation and take proper course of antibiotics prescribed by your dentist too...
hope it will help you...
take care...

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

According to your clinical symptoms i suspect that you might have developed severe infection in the tooth that had spread to the periapical tissues leading to abscess formation, if not treated in time can also spread to the tissue spaces to form space infections.
I would suggest you to visit Oral Surgeon and get the check up done, drainage of the abscess is required, go for the root canal treatment of the infected tooth.
Take complete course of antibiotics and analgesic under the prescription of your Dentist.
Take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
Maintain a good oral hygiene.

Hope this helps out,

Regards...
