Swelling In Toe Joints, With Uric Acid. Took Zyloric And Colchicine. Is It Right Medication?

Age 58, male. I was having swelling in the toe joints with uric acid level as 7.6 . Initially I took zyloric 100 and colchicine for 7 days but uric acid was down only to 6.8 but swelling reduced a bit. then my dr gave me zyloric 300 and stopped colchicine. He gave Nice too. My toe selling is now increased again with swelling in face after 4 days of this medicine. Should I start taking cochicine again?
