Switched Birth Control Pills. Missed Period, Pregnancy Test Negative. Reason For Blood Surrounding Stool?
I recently made a temporary switch in birth control pills. My period was late and I am sexually active. I took a pregnancy test last week (2 days after missed period) and had negative results. I waited a few days and still no period. So now, a week after missed period, I took another test which was also negative. I also just noticed blood surrounding my stool (red in water immediately surrounding stool). I'm not sure what's going on. I've also been having a lot of lower back/general back pain. It's been a dull ache that has been going on for a couple weeks
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. You new pill is working, and there nothing wrong with it. if still you want to exclude pregnancy, you can blood test for H.C.G, and ultrasound. The blood around the stools may be due to the infection of the intestines, probably due to amoebic infection. The low back pain may be due to the same infection, or fissure. I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods, to correct anemia, which may be present and to prevent amenorhea. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
