Swollen Ankles After Donating Plasma. Am I Dehydrated. Undergone Venous Procedure On Both Legs. Should I Meet A Doctor?
I have had multiple veinous procedures to deal with large vericose veins on both my legs that run from my ankle to my upper leg. I have not had any issues with recovery but have recently started donating plasma. I have donated 6 times and now have noticed today that I have very swollen ankles, as they were when I was pregnant. I am dehydrated, is this related possibly to my leg vein procedures or donating plasma? Do I need to go to a Dr immediately or should I try increasing my water intake to see if that relives the swelling. It does go down at night when I sleep with my feet elevated.
Hi, Nothing to worry, before all procedures they will go for pre operative assesment for fitness for the procedure. If they find some thing which can create some problem, they may not go for procedure. Ok and take care.
