Swollen Feet Everyday, Fluid Pills Not Helping. On Pacemaker, Fibulator In Chest. How To Get Relief?

hi, my right foot is swollen everday, left foot also but not as much. i take a fluid pill 2 times a day. one in morning & one at night. but that dont seem to help much. some days are worse then others. my dr don't seem concerned about it. he says to take the fluid pills & elevate your feet at night. i'm 69 & still work full time in a chair. it just started about 6 months ago. i have no other health problems now. i did have a sudden cardiac death incident 5 yrs ago and have a pace maker & fibulator in my chest. i have no other problems. i take about 7 pills in the morning & 7 at night. heart pills,blood pressure,acid reflex,small dose asperin.viagra,vitamin ect ect. i go to the bath room a lot but don't have great presser gary

Helo user,
As your doctor has pointed out, to keep your feet up, but you are not following him properly, you are working whole day sitting on a chair with your legs hanging down.
The above reason is main cause of your edema in lower leg, as drugs for getting fluids removed from body dont work in peripheral tissue, which are low lying.
You are rather advised to keep your legs up or straight using another small table in front of your chair.That way only you can control your peripheral edema.
