Swollen Glands In Throat. Hard To Swallow, Feels Nausea And Fatigue. On Antibiotic. Feels Like Having Bladder Infection
I have had swollen glands in my throat for 2 months. It is very swollen hard to swallow no pain. I have some nausea and fatigue . I am taking an antibiotic zpack and am on my third day with some improvement. Not much though. I also felt like I had a bladder infection . My throat feels like its closing but I can eat and breathe.
When you are having throat infection or swollen glands you are not supposed to take steroids without antibiotic coverage. Secondly, you seem to be suffering from either acid reflux disease or laryngopharyngeal reflux. Hence you need proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole or pantoperazole and consumption of plenty of warm water for the treatment of the same. Avoid coffee, tea, smoking and alcohol if any.
