Swollen Glands, Sore Throat. Pain While Swallowing. On Antibiotics. Can I Smoke Marijuana?
I started having very bad throat symptoms 4 days ago, (swollen glands, throat, lymph nodes ,painful swallowing) and just last night the results came back positive for strep. I'm on antibiotics, pain killers and a steroid. Would It be bad to smoke marijuana? would it induce the affects or prolong the recovery process? I'm a female, 5'2 and about 140 pounds.

I am glad you bring up your concerns on this online forum. I understand your concerns and while you have been treated for strep pharyngitis, I think you should not be using marijuana for any reason. I believe that you will suffer even more if you use the substance as it can worsen your condition. I hope you consult a doctor for appropriate medications regarding the same.
