Swollen Penis, Painful, White Discharge, Have Normal Erection And Ejaculation. Surgical Intervention?
i have one saudi male patient 23 years unmarried with no urinary complain .he is circumcised and complain of two holes at skin of coronel sulcus and some white materal coming out on exam it is so and few other nodules could be palpated around the skin of coronel sulcus material seems like smegma and at places it is firm patint has normal errection and ejeculation there few fibrous bands between glans and skin of coronel sulcus slightly distorted shape of glans rest of penile shaft is normal according to patient every 2 to 3 months this material is coming out with mild pain what is the probable diagnosis and management regarding any surgical intervention thanks
Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your patient is likely to have multiple infected sebaceous cysts over shaft of the penis close to coronal sulcus.
This can be confirmed by microscopic examination of a discharge (Material) from the lesion.
Please give him broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.
Ensure that he cleans his genitals twice daily with warm water.
If problem persists he may need to excise these cysts in Toto under local anaesthesia. Dr.Patil.
