Swollen Stomach, Abdomen Hard. Has Had Malrotation Surgery, AVC, TGA, Arterial Switch Heterotaxia With Polysplenia. Reasons ?
My son is 10 he has had malrotation surgery when he was born. He has AVC, TGA, arterial switch for transposition of great arteries , pulmonary atresia heterotaxia with polysplenia single ventricle and right aortic arch. Is currently taking lasix digoxin linsopril and coumadin. His stomach is very swollen and he is complaning of this region hurting. His abdomen is so hard. What is wrong. Normally he is pretty healthy considering.

I want to ask if he is also having swelling feet, any breathing difficulty...
It may be sign of heart failure that hardness you are telling might be congested liver..
I think he needs increased doses of lasix and once you consult your treating physician..
