Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Swollen Stomach, Bloated, Pain While Passing Gas. What Can Be Done?
I ve been having some discomfort in my lower abdomen for over a week now. My stomach is really swollen. And has a bloated feeling to it. It hurts a little to the right when I cough or take a step with my right leg, as passing gas is extremely painful, any ideas?
I went through your description. I suggest you not to worry much. You are having this trouble for a week or so. You must have taken some home remedies or over the counter medication. If no relief with those medicines, the problem could be something related to digestive system. Some infections or indigestion are the possibilities. Therefore, it is better to consult a physician as early as possible to avoid further complication.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck and Happy new year.
