Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My knee is swollen and tight. I shattered my cartilage twice before in the same knee, but when the pain and swelling began I was fine just minutes after. It's not hot to the touch, so I know it can't be a infection, but the pain is unbearable when I straighten it or put any kind of pressure (standing, walking ext.) on it.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The symptoms in the knee that you have now could be due to arthritic changes in the knee joint after the injury. A decrease in joint lubricants and mild inflammation can also cause these symptoms. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
