Swollen Vas Deferens, Sore Testes, Extreme Discomfort After A Week Of Vasectomy. Anything Serious?
I had a vasectomy 6 days ago and I'm still experiencing extreme discomfort. There is little to no swelling of the scrotom, but I noticed that the vasdeferan is swollen/inflamed. My testes are extremely sore. Is this anything I should be concerned with or would it be ok to wait a week or so until my follow up appointment? My family members and friends who have had this done said the pain went away after 2-3 days.... Just a little concerned. Thanks for your help
Vasectomy is a minor procedure. So you should have be away from pain within a couple of days. But your history classical symptoms of inflammation like redness, swelling and pain. There are chances of hematoma formation.(collection of blood). It may resolve on its own if it is not infected. If infection sets in than antibiotic is needed.
