hi sir,due to unprotected intercourse with husbund i have taken gynaset 5 mg tab for 3 days but still no period. so that i done pregnency test which is positive. my worry is that if any abnormility will happen to my babay if i will give birth due to gynaset tab.pl reply
Hello Thanks for writing to us with your health query. Do not worry, as there will be no adverse effect on the baby. Gynaset contains norethisterone. This drug is contraindicated during pregnancy. During critical period of organogenesis, it can cause virilization of female fetus. ALso , link with some anomalies is demonstrated. Please do not worry as you have taken a very small dose for only 3 days. Also, it is a very early pregnancy, so the drug is not likely to affect the fetus. Please consult a high risk pregnancy expert and have regular ultrasound scans and genetic tests. All the best. Take care.
