Taken Ipill And Ovral After Unprotected Sex. Positive Pregnancy Test. Can We Consult Gynecologist?

Dear Doctor

We belong to Delhi India. Me & my girl friend had sex last month and she used 2 tablet of iPill for 2 cosecutive days & 1 tablet of Ovral-L on 3rd day. Despite of that she got pregnant. Now she is 6th week pregnant, as she has confirmed yesterday by using Pregnancy Test Kit.

Please advice, will it be any problem at the Gynaecologist to tell our problem, as we are not married. At the moment we are not yet prepared to get married & have baby, as my girl friend is in the middle of her Web designing course.

I am waiting for your valuable advice.

Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist and get your urine, blood test and ultrasonography test done to know the exact period of your pregnancy.
You should consult for medical abortion with your gynaecologist.
Please tell her everything before going for an abortion.
