Taken Ipill, Had Regular Periods, Now Periods Stopped. Negative Urine Pregnancy Test. Does Ipill Change Monthly Cycle?
Hi my monthly due date is on 28th of every month. I took ipill on 5th April and had periods after 1 week i.e. 11th april. I also had my regular periods on 28th April. Now its more than 1 month, it is 4th June and I havnt still got my periods. I also did a urine test of pregnancy which has come negative. Does taking ipill changes ur monthly cycle ? Kindly suggest wat shud I do ??
Hi, ipill has high doses of female hormones to prevent conception which affects the hormonal balances and varies the onset of periods in that cycle. Your cycles have been delayed by 7 days this time and it seems to be due to the effect of ipill .Since the pregnancy test is negative you can take hormonal pills like Regesterone to bring about your periods. Hopefully they will regularise the next cycle onwards.
