Taking Dyazide For Menieres. Had Severe Vertigo, Nausea, Headache, Sounds In Ears. Can I Take Antivirals? What Is The Dosage?

I have had Menieres for about 5 years with mild to moderate attacks that usually resolve themselves in a couple days. I take Dyazide daily, with low sodium diet and decreased caffeine to manage it. I ve had a severe attack that s lasted 4 days with vertigo, nausea, intense headache and increased sounds in ears. Hopefully this one will pass soon. I see my ENT next month and would like to discuss with him the option of taking antivirals. However, I don t see much info on dosage recommendations. Any insight as to what seems to be the most effective dosage? Thank you!

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the infection of the internal ear. May be due to chronic rhinitis, and sinusitis.
Anti virals may not have a role, and not much used, dosage depends upon the type of the antiviral.
You can ask the specialist the precautions to prevent and treatment of the sinusitis, and rhinitis.
Avoid fruits, juices, and cool things when you have cold.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
