Taking Ibuprofen, Vicodin, Zantac For Pain Due To Osteoarthritis. Other Medicine?
im in severe pain osteoarthritis....I take lots of ibuprophen, which works the bes...my doctor gave me generic zantac...I do take a vicodin here and there....ibuprophen works better....but im still insevere pain most of the time...is there a once or twice aday ptll that may help me that will not kill my stomach or make me high?

you should take Etodolac ( etogesic) 600mg once a day. having no gastric irritation. other you should take Oxaceprol (Lupoxa) 200mg twice a day. you can take it for 3 months at a stretch without any side effect. leave all other except Calcium suppliment. you will feel relieved from pain in few days.

as ur on analgesics and there is no relief as such pls consult ur orthopedic doctor and also to a physiotherapist who will give u ultra sound or swd depending upon ur condition .. also start doing ur knee exercises (get it from physios ) and pls learn about ergonomics to avoid joint damaging activity .
