Taking Levogastrol For Dyspepsia. How Long Can Medicine Be Taken?

I am 67 years old and foir the last 2 years have been suffering ,from Dyspepsia, which my Spanish doctor has prescribed Levogastrol, which has brought relief, especially when I retire at night, and for a very long time I have been able to get a good night's sleep. Could you please advise me for how long I can take this Drug?, as the last Prescription the Doctor gave me, he said it would be the last he could issue a Prescription for this item.
Is there a medical reason why I ca\nniot continue to take this Drug?
