Taking Mucinex For Thick Mucous. Having Pain In Left Eye. Put Sustane. What Could It Be?

I have been taking 2400 mg Mucinex a day for the last few weeks to aid with thick mucus.....which has really helped that problem. Now, I've had a painful sensation in my left eye these last few days. Does not appear to be pink eye. When i have put Sustane in it, is has gotten a little bit better only for 20 minutes or so.
Any idea of what else it could be? YYYY@YYYY

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Looking to your history the possibility of frontal sinusitis is more likely, have steam inhalation, drink a lot of water, try Ibuprofen 400 mg twice day, this will come around soon and no need to worry have nice day.
