Taking Paxil, Klonopins For Sleeping. Confusion And Inability To Concentrate. Side Effects Of Medication?
I take 40 of paxil, 1000 paxil, 2 klonopins (.05) at night so that I can sleep because the paxil really stimulates me and I find it hard to fall asleep. At work, when I am typing, I seem to make mistakes. I do try to focus and check my work, but someone always finds it and then I feel very bad and also frustrated because I know that I'm trying hard. Can you tell me what the side affects of these medications taken together are??? Would you think they cause confusion and the inabilty to focus?

Klonipin can cause drowsiness and problems concentrating. The use of these medications together can increase these symptoms. It may also be associated with impaired judgement and thinking in some persons.
You may want to consider taking the klonipin earlier in the evening to reduce the chances of effects the next day.
If this is not effective then you may have to speak to your doctor regarding possible alternatives.
