Taking Prednisone. Having Shivering, Headaches, Tiredness, Appetite Gain And Period Problems. What To Do?
hi my mum has been taking prednisolone 5mg for 4 weeks and it was given by the doctors but shes getting worse short or breathe, coughing really heavy but the doctors are saying her chest is clear yet they have upped her dose to 10 tablets in the morning every day but now she finding shes shivering, headaches, tiredness, appetite gain and period problems what can she do I told her to stop taking them tonight as I found these werecommon side affects?

This is not the side effects of prednisone but may be something else but this will not cause any problem to her moreover I would suggest you to do not stop the prednisone without the advise of her doctor otherwise she will have to face the problem of sudden withdrawal of medicine the prednisone need to be stop in tapered manner and for that you have to consult her doctor, nothing to worry every will be fine once the course of prednisone completed take a good care of her have nice day
