Taking Tylenol Arthrits For Right Knee Pain, Tired Ice Packs, A535 Cream, History Of Arthritis. What Else To Do ?

I have a history of arthritis. As I write this my right knee is very painfull and have been taking tylenol arthrits(650mg) &
alternating with ice packs wrapped in a towel + applying A535 rub cream. I've just finished a precription ofapo-prednisone(5mg x6) for 5 days due to a previous inflamation/pain in my right ankle. What else should I be doing?

Hi,
As you got osteo-artheritis of knee joint now you should try to prevent further damage to your joint.
Do regular patellar exercise for 10 minutes for 2-3 times to strengthen your knee muscles.
Avoid squatting.
Avoid doing cross legs.
Do not bend knee joint more.
Do swimming exercise.
Take Calcium, Vitamin A, D supplements.
Ok and take care.
