Taking Ursodiol. Blood In Urine, Headache, Frequent Urination. Need To Worry?
I am taking ursodioltwice a day with 3 tablets at each time. lately I have not been feeling very good.I have been going to the bath room a great deal and some times I have blood in the toilet bowl.I also had a very bad headace. When I go to the bath room it just comes right out in full force. Is this some thing that I should worried about.
Some of the side effects of ursodiol include diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting etc. However, the problem of blood in the toilet bowl need to be addressed as soon as possible. We need to run investigations like stool examination, complete urine examination and ultrasound abdomen depending on physical exam findings.
As you also have severe headache, all these symptoms may or may not be related to the medications you are taking. But the problem needs to be addressed at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your query. Wish you a good health!
