Taking Actonel EC Combi. Burping, Sick In Stomach. What To Do?
Hello, I have been taking Actonel EC combi D for some time now, and have taken my weekly this morning. I have been burping all day, and feel unwell, sick in the stomach. By lunch time I was still avoiding being sick so as to not throw up the tablet. My stomach does not feel comfortable. I will often burp for a short time, but not like today. Is there anything I can do at this point? May I lie down?

The stomach ache, discomfort and vomiting is caused by Gastritis.
Gastritis is induced by oral intake of painkillers.
Stop the painkiller right away.
Use topical application or patch for pain management.
Endoscopy of the upper gastrointestinal tract will help in the diagnosis.
Can go for proton pump inhibitor group of drugs for control of gastritis.
