Taking Alprazolam, Metropolol, Warfrain To Control Afib. Have Enlarged Atrium, History Of Mitro Valve Prolapse. Can Take Xanax?

I take alprazolam about once a month never more than three times a month. I am on digoxin and metropolol , warfarin, to control AFib. 77 years old but in excellent health otherwise with no -plaque but I have an enlarged atrium and a history of mitro valve prolapse. All blood work excellent. No hypertension or any other heart or health issue Can I take the generic Xanax for occasion stress control safely?

Hi,

I read your query very carefully and would like to say yes you can take the generic xanax for occasional cases of stress, but you have to control the doses. The prolongrd use of xanax may cause dependence.
