There can be number of causes for pain in hip is there any firm diagnosis or not yet. I am Ayurvedic { Herbal ] doctor so in ayurveda type of pain is important to know disturbing factors e.g if it is due to pit imbalance the nature of pain will be sharp with burning or sensation of heat, if the imbalance is kaph pain will be dull with sensation of coldness or greasy touch over the area, if it is vaat the pain will be sharp changing its location and not of permanent nature. similarly let me know if there is radiation of pain to any location. what about rest of health sugar, bp etc. nature of job, appetite constipation sleep, time of pain whether it disturbs sleep or not, is it better on application of heat or not.
on hearing from you on these lines i can suggest you.
