Taking Concerta And Lexapro. What Are They For?

My wife and I decided to start trying for a baby. I can not find any research on males side of things. I am most worried about the meds I am on. Overall, Im healthy, dont drink but a couple drinks a week, exercise regularly, don t smoke, etc. I do take Concerta 27 mg, Lexapro 10mg 3-4x s wk, Canasa 1000mg suppository for crohns w/ balazimine? as needed for crohns. Also, for lifting I use protien & N.O. pre workout supplements (l- arginine , creatine etc). I do have 1 child from previous marraige and she is beuatiful and healthy (Besides Daddy s ADD). However I wasnt diagnosed with crohns nor ADD and wasnt on any meds then.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
H,

Let me explain to you that pregnancy is the nature's phenomenon it does not need any medicines neither any medicine can stop this, if you do have your reasons but that would be immaterial as long as pregnancy is concern, only thing is your sperm count should be enough for conception else it is nothing to worry, no matter if you are on some drug or taking little alcohol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Husain, General & Family Physician
