Taking Doxycycline To Treat Clamidia Pneumonia, Swelling In Lower Limbs With Discolouration, No Relief. Reason?
Hi my husband was on 50mg doxycycline for 18 month to treat clamidia pneumonia he developed swelling in the lower limbs with discolouration that has stayed the same he has been off it for some months now. The doctor prescribe 100mg 10days ago for severe flu symptoms the swelling has got worse also the colour has got darker just wonder if it could be due to the drug our doctor has,nt associated the condition to the drug
hello dear thanks for your query at HCM Serious liver problems (liver failure), kidney failure, hyper sensitivity reactions,Sensitivity to the sun, Discolored teeth, anemia, nausea, vomitings these are major side effects of doxycycline your condition may not be associated with drug it would have been coincidence get your self examined by physician for swelling it might be due some injury because it is changing color regards
