Taking Progonova, Pregestrone Pesaries And Proluton Depot Shoots, HPT Came Positive. Could It Be Wrong? Pregnant?

Hi, I have just finished an egg donor transfer and are 9 DPT for a 5 day embryo . I am taking progonova, pregestrone pesaries and Proluton depot shoots. Today I did a HPT and it came up positive. Taking all those drugs, could my positive result actually be wrong and that I am not pregnant? I don t want to get my hopes up.

It is understandable not to want to get your hopes up only to be disappointed.
Some medications can result in false positive pregnancy tests, in terms of hormonal medications, HCG injections are the main culprit

These are sometimes used in fertility treatments to help with ovulation. You have not mentioned them in your list of medications.

The other medications you have mentioned are not associated with a false positive results.

You can repeat the test in a few days if you wish to be sure.
