Taking Treatment For Pain And Burning On Chest Around Nipple Level. Gall Bladder Removed. Taking Omaprazole. Help?
for several months I have been treated for pain and burning on the left side of my chest at around nipplelevel. I t occurs with some stomach pain but not always. The pain or burning was concerning enough to go to ER twice. Both times heart was checked OK. Folowed up with cardiologist who did a heart cath to check my three year old stents. Found all in clear state, I have two. Treatment was given for reflux problems but tube was put down throat showed only minor irritation. Tests followed checking Gall Bladder. Gall bladder was found to be functioning at around 3%. Gall bladder removed about 45 days ago. Last week chest pain/burn returned with stomach pain as well as pain between shoulders in the back sometimes, sometimes feel chilled but no temperature. Currently been on Omaprazole for 7 days with no improvement. Help?
Your problem seems to be of not any disease per se but some nerve involvement. sometimes it does happen that a small stimulus of pressure or irritation that may be very subtle for someone else, may give rise to a severe pain in some individuals. We call it hyperaesthesia or allodynia. You can see a neurologist who may do some nerve conduction studies and confirm it. Till then try tablet pregabalin 150 mg daily for pain
