Teenager. Brownish Stain On Underwear. No Discomfort. Infection?
Hi, I'm a mother of a 13 yr old. Lately when washing his under wear, I started noticing brownish stains on the front of his underwear and it seems to be getting darker each time. He is not sexually active and hasn't complained of any penile pain or discomfort. So, is this something to be worried about (i.e infection) or just a normal part of puberty? cheers, MMD.
I understand your concerns. I believe that your son is having a brownish stain on his underwear due to either nocturnal emission or discharge of semen because of hitting puberty, or it could be due to incontinence of the bladder or bowel. Please examine closely since these are two different conditions and the latter needs medical attention. I hope that you consult a qualified doctor if necessary.
Take care and have a lovely day!
