Tender To Touch, Dull Ache In Perineum. No Pain Or Burning During Urination, No Pain After Ejaculation. Not Overweight. Help

My boyfriends perineum had been tender to the touch for about two days now, we have no idea what would cause this. But there is no pain or burning when he urinates and no pain after ejaculation but he has a dull ache/tenderness in his perineum. He is a 20year old active male, he does sit a lot. He is not over weight. We are in a monogamous relationship as well. Can anyone help us?

Hi,
From history it seems that your boy friend might have some ingrown hair follicle infection forming abscess giving rise to this problem.
There might be another possibility of having fissure in ano or fistula in ano.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
One course of antibiotic will cure his problem if it is forming abscess.
Ok and take care.
