Terrible Pain In Lower Back. Cloudy Urine With Fragments Of Stuff Floating. History Of Kidney Problems. Recurring Kidney Stones?

i have been in terrible pain for about 12 hours in my lower back. at points the pain was so extreme it had me yelling and crying. i need to help to walk. when i wen to the bathroom, i took a sample of my urine, and its cloudy with fragments of stuff floating around in it. i have a long history of kidney issues including stones. im wondering of its happening again. i am on pain management on a lot of medications. can this be the cause of it?

Hi,
This could be a urine infection or kidney stones or both. The pain of kidney stones (renal colic) can be extremely severe. Drink as much water as possible and sometimes the stones can be flushed through. If this continues I think you should visit the ED. They may do an X-ray or scan to locate the stones.
