While I admire your proactive stance regarding your health, I must ask a few additional questions. What is your age? Why do you believe you may be at risk for diabetes? Do you have a heriditary propensity for diabetes (i.e. anyone in your family has diabetes)? When are you checking your glucose levels?

A fasting glucose level of 92 is within a normal range and should not be of any concern. I would be more concerned with a fasting glucose level of 126 or a 2 hour post meal glucose level of greater than 200. If either of these are true, you should see your family physician.

hello, As you have been checking your sugar level regularly and recently reading showed 185 with new strip, First check the correct code of the strip, rule out expiry, if it s kept exposed to atmosphere for long period it may have error. If all such basic are ruled out, and even than it shows high result, better counter check once with laboraotry result, to confirm... remember Fasting should be less than 100 mg % for a normal individual if it is b/n 101 to 125 mg % than is suggest IFG ( Impaired Fasting Glycemia) and if it is > 126 mg % it suggest Diabetes, ...thanks .... take care
