The USG Report States That The Findings Are Of A Bilateral Hydrosalpinx Due To Fimbrial End/pelvic Adhesions Following Chronic PID. What Does This Report Mean?
Hello Doctor. What does this report mea? Both fallopian tubes are opacified and there is loculated spill bilaterally. Findings are of a bilateral hydrosalphinx due to fimbrial end/Pelvic adhesions following chronic PID what can I do after this report?
Your undergone Hysterosalpingography in which radio-opaque due is injected into the uterus to know the patency of fallopian tubes. These are the tubes which may carry the eggs from ovary to uterus.
So, one end of both your fallopian tubes is partially blocked due to adhesion. These adhesions formed due to pelvic inflammatory disease caused by gonorrhoea or Chlamydia or tuberculosis or candida infection.
Now you have to take treatment for the pelvic inflammatory disease.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
