Thigh Pain Causing Difficulty In Walking, Later Burning Sensation, Deep Groin Pains. Related?
Hi This has happened a couple of times recently. I was out walking for maybe 30mins and suddenly my outer top of my thigh had the most awful pain about 9/10, causing me to limp very badly. The pain lasted for a few days and I could hardly walk up the stairs etc. For a while now I have been experiencing a funny sensation in the same area like a weird burning sensation on touch. I also get deep groin pains every so often too. Could all this be related or what. Thanks
thanks for writing to us I have studied your case.
The cause of frequent problem -this kind of pain is due to compression of nerve because of spinal disc bulge. Nerve compression lead to radiating pain, which aggravated on long time sitting in same particular position. Avascular necrosis of hip is common in alcoholic, patient taking steroids which leads to thigh pain ,you need clinical examination
If the above do not help, you need to investigate in the form of - X ray spine and hip and if needed, MRI spine and hip and management accordingly
Do you smoke , vascular problems lead to similar symptoms physiotherapy - SWD ,IFT WILL HELP
