sir my relative met an accident result she affected third nerve palsy her right eye pupil not move in side of nose & her eye lid go down treatment going from last six month in the from of predislone for two month starting 64mg per day citiline500mg and piracetem 800mg two time in a day for 6 month nerotrance for last 6 month during this treatment25 percent improvement achived now doctor of XXXX advise for eye lid surgery and seqvent surgery please aduise we wait for improvement by natural process or surgery negative or positive points of eye lids surgery or seqvent surgergery specialist doctor and institute mentioned
since its almost 6 months..of the paralysis..u should consult the eye specialist/oculoplastic doctor..for..lid drooping and squint surgery..so that cosmetically u may get some relief in straight gaze..but because of paralysis..u can not achieve the total movement and everything ,,which was natural before..
steroids can be tapered down as per the doctors advice..get the latest MRI to ruleout the obvious pathology and resolution of the cause../disease
