Three Week Old Tragus Piercing Fell Apart, Got It Back In Immediately. Feeling Dizzy. Can Piercing Cause This ?
Three week old tragus piercing fell apart, I wrestled with it for 20 mins to put it back together. It was a painful, but I got it back in - immediately after standing up I got a case of vertigo and I m still getting dizzy whenever I turn my head. I soaked the piercing in saltwater within the hour to sanitize the area. I have eaten and am otherwise healthy. This is not normal for me. Can a piercing cause this?
Tragus piercing is a normal occurance in many urban youth and strict sanitization are followed to do it in every steps. Washing the area with salt water reduces or minimizes the chance of infection.
The piercing fell off and you struggled to put it back piece. During that period you experienced a good amount of pain. That could be reason for your vertigo. Normally happens with everyone, because pain is pain.
That episode over. Vertigo caused now is its psychological after effect. You don't ven need counseling. Go do your job.
