Throat Pain, Chest Coughs, Fever, Recovered From Bacterial Chest Infection. Can I Take Novaclox Antibiotic?
I recently recovered from a bacterial chest /sinus infection (1.5 weeks ago),but it seems like i might relapse as I'm experiencing throat pain and chesty coughs, combined with fever at night and night sweats. I'm out of town but have with me novaclox antibiotic. It's a mix with amoxycillin and dicloxacillin. Can i use this?
Chesty coughs, combined with fever at night and night sweats, as mentioned by you can be because of other infections apart from sinus infection like tubercolosis, which is caused by a bacteria called mycobacterium or may be due to atypical pneumonia.
Regarding the use of a mix with amoxycillin and dicloxacillin, I cannot recommend it now as it would be unethical and inappropriate to prescribe you scheduled drugs without doing a proper examination. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have have any clarifications.
