Hi welcome to health care magic forum, Throat pain may be infective or non infective. Noninfective may be due to extraesophageal disease. As your endoscopy report suggested acid peptic disease, so your doctors advised you 3 month course. If still no relief after a 3 month course of antireflux medication than a review is needed. In my opinion you can see an gastroentrologist for a second opinion . You can undergo for a second upper GI endoscopy and an ambulatory PH monitoring if available. regards.
