Thyroidectomy, Isthmusectomy Done. Hard Ball Under The Chin, Neck Swollen After Surgery. What Is It?
It s been a month after left thyroidectomy n isthmusectomy. Everything went well. Under my chin , directly center if incision, upwards, is like a hard ball under chin directly under mouth. Almost like double chin....n right after surgery there was swelling on right side of neck . Surgeon saw it Said doesnt know what it is n should go away but it s still there. Please helppppp!!!

Was there any infection after surgery?
Now currently do you see any redness of the overlying skin, any discharge from the thyroid surgery scar?
Was any ultrasound done to assess the nature of this swelling
