Tingling And Numbness Of Finger Following A Shock. Taking Sotalol For Irregular Heartbeat. Should I Be Concerned?

I received a shock when switching off a light, a jolt of heat and pain through my finger and a burning feeling through to my chest. 45 minutes later my finger is tingling and numb but otherwise ok. I am on sotalol medication for an irregular heartbeat. I think i feel ok, just worried because ive never experienced anything so frightening before. Do i need to do anything?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
The fingers and hand became numb, and pain full due to shock.
The pain may continue for some days, if medicine is not used. So i advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patients with such symptoms ofloxacin, aciclofenac sodium, or paracetamol for pain relief.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
