General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Your symptoms can be stress related. However other conditions should be ruled out first. Such symptoms can be caused by ischemic heart disease, peptic ulcer, acid reflux disease.
If the burning radiates somehow to the left arm or jaw, shortness of breath appears, heart problem is more possible.
If there is nausea, pain or burning appears after a meal, stomach issue seems more possible.

I suggest you to visit your doctor and do not wait any longer. Heart ECG, blood work and abdominal ultrasound should be done at first. Gastroscopy should be next.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
