Toddler Hardly Eats Solid Foods, Only Likes Milk. What Can Be Done To Encourage Her Liking Towards Solid Food?
I am from Manila. I have a 21 months old daughter. She is a very active child with advanced development based on Early Childhood Development checklist which we are using here in the Philippines. But the only problem is that she hardly eat solid food. she depended much on her milk (Bonakid) What shall I do to encourage her to eat... we try to offer her food with lots of vegetables.... please... Toddlers are frequently picky eaters. The following things should help your child eat.
a. Tell your child 10-15 minutes in advance that its meal time
b. Fix a time for eating
c. Don't let your child play with toys during mealtimes.
d. Make mealtimes pleasant. If mealtimes are pleasant.
e. for vegetables, you can try serving them with dips.
f. Promise your child a treat if she finishes a meal
g. take your daughter to the kitchen. Seeing you cook and helping out should encourage her to eat
h. Dont address your child's tantrums.
