Toddler Was Bit By Vaccine Dog. Given Cornvac5 Injection. Is It A Good Medication?

Neighbour dog 5 months old (vaccined few months before) bit my one and half year girl baby yesterday 8.00pm. I took her to doctor today evening 7.00pm .doctor injected comvac5 instead of dog bites injection .Doctor told comvac5 includes TT so wait and see what happens to dog for 5 days ,if dog dies come back to me I will give dog bite injection. comvac5 is periodic vaccine mentioned in vaccine card given to me for my baby. Is TT alone is enough for my baby or I have to give any other vaccine for dog it.Sir kindly reply YYYY@YYYY

Hi
If your child is vaccinated till 1 and half year upto date no need for TT injection as the primary DPT and booster DPT contain TT. And comvac 5 is not required. You should start Antirabies vaccination immediately if that dog is received no vaccination or insufficient vaccination. You should start taking antirabies injections according to schedule and you should observe the dog for 10 days for any illness or death and in this duration you will complete 0 3 7 doses of schedule. After 10 days the dog is healthy and alive you can skip the remaining two doses after discussing with your doctor. So go for a second opinion near by you and get the proper medical advise
