Toddler With Delayed Speech. Underwent MRI And EEG Tests. Is There A Correlation Between The Two Findings?
Hi my 21/2 yrs old boy is late in talking, he can only say mam & dad, MRI scan showed white spots in certain areas and the doctor said these are undeveloped brain cells, and he diagnosed him with mild autism ASD. We did EEG and this showed some extra electricity in the brain, he never had seizures. Can someone explain if there is any correlation between the MRI findings and EEG findings?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe your 2 1/2 years boy, is late in talking. It may happen in some children that the speech may be late naturally. But his mri shows that he has some white spots in certain areas, and confirmed it to be the autism. Where the child will be extra active, which may be seen in E.E.G, as extra stimulation. Rarely he may get seizures, in latter life, or may be they are latent activity. Any how he is in the treatment, you also give him green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and proteine rich foods. Wishing him a good luck. Thank you.
